Brenda Shook Wilkerson

Brenda Shook Wilkerson was born on April 11, 1957, and gained her wings on Thursday, October 13, 2016.  She was the daughter of the Late Ray and Mable Shook.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dennis Wilkerson whom loved her dearly; her two daughters, Angie Davis (Charles) of Amelia, and Leslie Wilkerson of Keysville; six grandchildren, Wesley Davis, Tevin Wilkerson, Hunter Stables, Mikayla Stables, Bryson Scott, and Jaxson Scott; two sisters, Joyce Bentley (Buck), Phyllis Forrest; three brothers, Lewis Ray Shook (Rosemary), Dennis Shook (Betty), and James Shook (Sharron); and a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Vicky Evans, Donna Napier, Liz Lyles, Sharon Courville, and Jerry Barton.  She loved and appreciated her nieces, Pam Amos and Debbie Kay Hayer for all that they did to help her.  Brenda received the Lord in her heart on December 2, 2011; she loved all her church family and her Pastor Wayne Wells and his family.  They brought her much joy.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 16, 2016, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville with interment in the Ash Camp Memorial Cemetery, Keysville.

The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville was in charge of the arrangements.
