Annie Gracie Guill Scott of South Boston, VA passed away January 13, 2020. She was born in Charlotte County on September 10, 1936 and was 83 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Joe Nat Guill and the late Rena Wilmouth Guill. She was of the Baptist faith.

Annie Gracie Scott is survived by her daughter, Shelby Faye Crews and husband William of Vernon Hill; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews including Mildred Hazelwood. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dorothy Newcomb, three sisters and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 16, at 2 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd McClure officiating. Burial to follow in Hebron Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home and other times at 621 Berry Hill Rd., South Boston, VA.
