A car and bike show initially planned for this past weekend has been rescheduled for Oct. 28. The second annual Fall Car and Bike Show hosted by the Charlotte County Christmas Parents, Inc. will be held at 200 Heartland Park in Keysville from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Organizations of the event are asking those who attended to bring a toy to donate to help with this season’s Christmas toy giveaway for those less fortunate.

Those with cars and bikes who would like to participate in the show can fill out a registration online or call 434-470-8180.

There is a $20 registration fee for vehicle owners, $50 fee for food vendors, $35 fee for craft vendors, and $20 fee for information vendors.

What is Christmas Parents?

Christmas Parents’ goal is to provide a toy over $20, one under $20 toy, a sweater/sweatshirt, a stocking filled with goodies, a blanket, and books for each child. In previous years the number of children helped has been between 200 – 300.

This is possible only due to the generosity of individuals, churches, and businesses.

Christmas Parents is a 501(c)3 entity whose mission is to provide Christmas presents to Charlotte County children in need from birth to age 12.

A registration form is distributed in the schools and is available at Social Services. Qualifications are verified.
