Randolph-Henry used the March Madness concept as an attendance challenge for this previous month. Throughout the month of March, first-period classes went head-to-head in a basketball-style bracket, with the ultimate goal of achieving the best attendance percentage. Mrs. Pillow’s class, consisting of 19 students enrolled in Intro to Digital & Information Literacy, emerged victorious. To celebrate their achievement, students were treated to an ice cream sundae party on Wednesday, April 10.
“This victory exemplifies Randolph-Henry’s dedication to combating chronic absenteeism and fostering a culture of attendance excellence both inside and outside the classroom,” Randolph-Henry Principal Erin Davis said. “A huge round of applause to each student for their commitment to attendance excellence!”
