Ronnie P. VenableRonnie P. Venable, 68 of Washington, D.C., was born in Anchorage, Alaska on Jan. 17, 1955. He was the second son of Virginia and Isiah Venable, who preceded him in death. Ronnie died in the Samaritan Hospital, Troy, New York, on Tuesday, June 20.

Ronnie is survived by his three brothers, Raymond H. Venable, Roland S. Venable (Barbara) and Michael A. Venable; nephews, Roland S. Venable Jr. (Ashley) and Isaiah Venable; nieces, Valerie Y. Venable and Lauren Haysbert; great nephews, Shantin Dove and Roland Douglas Venable; great niece, Kobe Venable; and a host of other great nieces, nephews, cousins, his extended New York family, Ellouise Foy-Browne, Marcus Todd Foy-Browne and Hasanai Badar and many close friends. Special mention to his special posse (hang out crew) Laverne Tuckson, June Bryant, Marcus Haynes, Ronald Dickens and a few others (childhood friends from 12th Street, NE, of D.C.).

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 1, at 11 a.m., at Saint Louis Baptist Church in Charlotte Court House with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Condolences may be expressed at www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
