On Thursday, October 22, the angels of mercy came and gently closed Annie Marion Harvey Carrington’s eyes and took her to her eternal home. Annie was born on May 14, 1939 in Cullen to the late Elebeus and Flossie Harvey. Annie enjoyed many things in life but traveling, arts & crafts, horse betting and spending time with family and friends were just a few. She was preceded in death by brothers, Joe, Russell, Willie Sanders Harvey; sisters, Thelma Hall, Alice Simms, Mildred and Edith Harvey. Annie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, James Alvin Carrington; sons, Darryll Carrington and Kyle Carrington (Rhonda) both of Detroit, Michigan; two grandsons, Keshawn Carrington and Armanii Beal; great-granddaughter, Anyla Carrington; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside Service were held 12:00 noon Thursday, November 5 at St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen with interment in church cemetery. Service of Comfort was provided by Dupee’s Funeral Home of Drakes Branch, VA.
