Whites Building Supply in Keysville is in the process of rebuilding after a fire destroyed the building in the early morning hours of Dec. 12, 2019.

According to co-owner Beth Shook, the cause of the fire was undetermined due to its extensive damage, but it is believed to have started in the back portion of the building.

Shook purchased the business with co-owner Don Nelson in November 2017.

“We had just celebrated our second anniversary in business,” Shook said.

According to Shook, construction is expected to be completed in November.

Currently, Whites Building Supply is working to serve customers and has been operating a mini store at the company’s lumber yard.
