George Lee Roach, 84, formerly of Saxe, peacefully returned to his maker on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Keysville. He was born on March 1, 1932 to the late Luevinia Roach and Eddie Edmonds. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandmother, Pinkie Roach.

George leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted cousin, Carol R. Hall (William); cousins, Sarah Dailey and Lorraine Brown; his best friends, the Rev. Whitfield Scott and Deacon Herman Brown; many more cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 26 at the Piney Grove Baptist Church in Randolph. Interment was in the church cemetery.
