Distribution of USDA Food boxes, along with food purchased with donations from Mt. Zion (Pastor Lewis M. Watson) and Providence Baptist Church, (Pastor Alan Shepherd) for those who need food, will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Red House from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 20, for those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community and are residents of Charlotte County.

Participants can receive USDA food boxes at only one site in Virginia. Please bring a large cardboard box and identification. Anyone with questions, can call Bernice Pannell at (434) 248-6465 after 5 p.m. and before 8 p.m.

In accordance with federal law and U.S. Department of Agriculture Policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability. COVID-19 safety guidelines will be followed. Directions will be given as you enter the parking lot. Guests must stay in their vehicle and the box will be put in the trunk.
