A search for a 14-year-old missing juvenile from the Keysville area has ended in her safe return.

According to investigators with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Gracie Buchanan was located in the Virginia Beach area around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 7.

Investigators said Buchanan was found safe and unharmed but would not disclose if the teen was with another individual at the time she was found.

According to investigators, Buchanan was last seen Saturday, July 3. Buchanan was reported missing Sunday, July 4, and was believed to have left her home in the early morning hours.

According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Buchanan was living with her grandparents at the time of her disappearance.

The investigation into her disappearance is ongoing, but investigators said Buchanan left her home under her own will.
