After a year without a formal graduation ceremony, Randolph-Henry High School (R-H) held its commencement for 127 graduating seniors of the Class of 2021 on a beautiful Saturday morning, May 22.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions to provide a ceremony that accommodated students, staff, and guardians at 30% capacity, the ceremony was held outside on the football field.

In addition, a live stream of the graduation was provided for guests who are unable to attend due to health conditions or capacity concerns.

“Although our ceremony was different than in years past, we were committed to making it memorable and special for the Class of 2021,” R-H Principal Erin Davis said. “I am proud to say our students are respected leaders. Everywhere we look, we see young leaders assuming new roles in their classrooms, within extracurricular groups, in their communities, and in the workplace. Our seniors are respectful, well-mannered, and strong advocates for others. I know that this is a direct result of the strong role models that have been a part of your life here in Charlotte County. There is something special about being raised in a small community where so many people come together to mold our children into young adults.”
