The small creek behind the Drakes Branch Municipal Building was over its banks the morning of Friday, Feb 7, following heavy rainfall and high winds overnight.

 

As of noon, Southside Electric Cooperative was reporting 176 customers without power in Charlotte County while Mecklenburg Electric Cooperative was reporting 15 members without electricity in their service area.
