Charlotte County Public Schools’ (CCPS) Food Service Department recently announced that it would be operating under a new cafeteria system beginning over the summer.

The division announced that the prior program that it used to record and utilize meal plans for students, Myschoolbucks, is no longer being used as of May 18.

“For the 2018-2019 school year, K12PaymentCenter will be our new Online Payment system for meals,” the division announced on its social media page.

K12PaymentCenter, an online payment system for students’ school meals, allows parents or guardians to create an account, set up recurring payments, see a detailed payment history and see what their children are purchasing at the cafeteria, the K12PaymentCenter website cited.

The system will activate July 30, the release cited.

The school division noted in the release that more information about the program is underway, and to visit https://goo.gl/9CJsmL to learn more.
