Although most surrounding schools sent students home early today, Charlotte County Public Schools released schools at regular time.

Now students, who were being sent home on buses as usual, are on buses that have been ordered to reroute and return to their respective schools in order to keep students safe inside of their schools.

Currently Charlotte County is under a tornado warning, according to the National Weather Service.
