More changes coming to Route 360 intersection

If you’re heading down Route 360 starting on Friday, things could be a bit slower. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will start their project to modify the intersection of Route 15 and Route 360 Business on Friday, Sept. 22. VDOT officials warn this will take a while to finish, with barriers expected to stay up through summer 2024.

The intersection will be reconfigured with southbound Route 15 (Farmville Highway) traffic coming to a stop at the intersection, with two-way traffic movement along Four Locust Highway.

The on-ramps to Southbound Kings Highway and the off-ramp from Southbound Route 15/360 (Kings Highway) to Route 15 (Farmville Highway) will be closed to traffic. Drivers that use these ramps will be detoured. Detour signage will alert motorists to the change and direct traffic along the detour.

Please take extra care when driving in the area. All work is weather-pending.
