DECEMBER 14

COURTHOUSE HOLIDAY BAZAAR, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Central Middle School, Charlotte Court House. Crafters and vendors will be there to assist you with your gift purchases for the holiday. There will be raffle tickets and food sold. This is a fundraising event for Bacon District School. Come out and support this event.

FOOD BANK, 10-11:45 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Red House. This is for residents living in the Phenix and Red House community who are residents of Charlotte County. For questions, call Bernice at (434) 248-6465.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. The public is welcome. Refreshments will be served after the program.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, 6 p.m. at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church. Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall following the program. Everyone is welcome to attend.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT, 3:30 p.m. featuring Goff Mountain Gospel Bluegrass at Mt. Carmel U.M.C., 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, Brookneal. All are welcome.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, 7 p.m. at Wylliesburg Baptist Church, 655 Barnesville Highway. A social will follow in the fellowship hall.

DECEMBER 17

LADIES MUG PARTY, 6:30 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church. Ladies will gather and travel to different locations as they enjoy appetizers, soup/chili and desserts. The evening will finish with an ornament exchange. Bring a wrapped ornament for the exchange.

DECEMBER 18

MONTHLY MEETING, 10 a.m. of the Southern Virginia GO Region 3 Executive Committee at the offices of the Halifax County IDA, 1100 Confroy Drive, South Boston. The meeting is open to the public; a closed session may be part of the agenda.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING, 6:30 p.m. Meet at Providence Baptist Church.

DECEMBER 21

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM, 5 p.m. at Mt. Carmel UMC. A covered-dish dinner following the program. Come and join us to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior. “O, Come Let Us Adore Him.”

DECEMBER 22

CANDLELIGHT SERVICE, 7 p.m. at Wylliesburg Baptist Church, 655 Barnesville Highway. Everyone welcome.
