The Charlotte County Community Choir is excited to announce the beginning of practices for this year’s Christmas Cantata entitled “Prince of Heaven.” The first practice will be 7 p.m., Sept. 16 at Drakes Branch Baptist Church.

This year’s cantata was originally recorded by Hillsong Worship on its critically acclaimed Christmas album entitled “The Peace Project.” Arranged by Travis Cottrell, this remarkable cantata captures the same passion, spirit and excitement as the original Hillsong recording and will minister not only to the congregation and community, but also to the choir participants as they practice and prepare for the presentations.

The Charlotte County Community Choir has been performing Christmas Cantatas for more than 30 years.

Anyone who loves singing about Jesus and his love for us is invited to join the Choir on this musical journey. If you are a church leader and would like for your choir to be part of a larger singing group for the Christmas season bring your entire choir and join with us. Let’s come together and make a community wide effort to praise our Lord this Christmas season.
