USDA FOOD BANK, 10-11:45 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Red House. This food bank is for those in the Phenix and surrounding Red House community who are residents of Charlotte County. August 19

WOMEN’S MINISTRY PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville. All ladies wear white with a red flower. Refreshments will be served after service.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS PROGRAM, 3 p.m. at Gill Hill Baptist Church in Keysville. The youth department will sponsor the program to benefit the building fund. The program will include the Hawkes Family of Blackstone and Carnell Lewis of Burkeville. Everyone is invited.

HOMECOMING, 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Nebo in Dillwyn. Dinner will follow after morning service.

COMMUNITY FUN DAY, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Emmanuel Bible Church in Keysville. Attractions will include two inflatables, cake walks, dunking booth, music, food, indoor and outdoor games, local fire and rescue vehicles, and more.

FFA CAR AND TRUCK SHOW, 1-3:30 p.m. at the Central Middle School bus parking lot. Classes for the show will include best classic car, best classic truck, ugliest farm truck and spectator’s choice. The event will include food, music, door prizes, cash prizes and trophies for best vehicle.

August 26

HOMECOMING, 10:45 a.m. prayer and praise service and 11:15 a.m. worship service at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Lunch will be served after morning worship.

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. prayer and praise, 7:30 p.m. worship service at Triumph Bapitst Church. The Rev. Darryl Brown of Calvary Baptist Church in Prospect will deliver the word. He will be accompanied by a guest choir each night. Everyone is invited.

KIDS CLUB, 4-5:30 p.m. at Drakes Branch Baptist Church. The program is free and will be held each Monday after school. Activities will include snacks, homework help by certified teachers, Bible study, games and crafts. Parents need to register children for the program.
