Christopher Jamel Valentine, 37 of Midlothian, entered eternal rest on Monday, April 29, in Chester.

Mr. Valentine was born in Farmville on November 2, 1986 to Veronica Valentine and Christopher Cook. He was a graduate of Manchester High School in Midlothian and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Drakes Branch. Mr. Valentine furthered his education at John Tyler Community College. He was an entrepreneur and clothing designer. Christopher loved spending time with his boys. He was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan as he loved watching and attending their games. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfathers, Leon Saunders and Earl Valentine and paternal grandparents, Earley and Mary Jane Cook. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his sons, Brody and Jax Valentine of Midlothian; mother, Veronica Valentine of Midlothian; father, Christopher Cook of Durham, North Carolina; maternal grandmother, Novella Saunders of Saxe; Tori Jones of Randolph, whom he treated as a sister; his significant other, Jessica Heather Lee, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. 

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at Shiloh Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, where Rev. Marvin Harris delivered the eulogy. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
