Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) is ranked No. 21 nationally in the latest SCOREBOARD powered by NCAA Division III Men’s Golf rankings. The Tigers are also ranked 10th in the extremely strong Region IV that includes 11 of the Top 25 teams in the country. 

H-SC, under the direction of seventh-year head coach and Director of Athletics Chad Eisele, has averaged 297.55 per round through eight tournaments and 20 rounds. The Tigers have one win and three Top 10 finishes among eight Top 15 efforts overall. H-SC was ranked No. 25 nationally in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek DIII Coaches Poll, as well. 

The Garnet & Grey feature five golfers ranked highly among the SCOREBOARD national and/or regional individual rankings, including junior Nick Rubino, who is ranked 28th in Division III and 16th in Region IV with his 73.60 scoring average. Rubino is followed by freshman Jack Barnes (74.21), who is 114th in DIII and 49th in the region, junior John Hutcheson (75.65), who is 168th in DIII and 62nd in the region, junior Rece Lott (75.55), who is 209th in DIII and 79th in the region, along with senior Tommy Bishop (75.44), who is 277th in DIII and 96th in the region.

H-SC will play at the Cochran Collegiate on April 15-16 at the Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tennessee near Memphis.
