Shirley Lee Chambers WheelerShirley Lee Chambers Wheeler, 60 of Cullen, passed away on Feb. 11, in Lynchburg. She was the daughter of the late Saint Joseph Chambers and Alice Pearl Saunders Chambers. 

Shirley is preceded in death by both of her parents; brother, Willie Chambers, and her grandson, Jaylen Lee Hix.

Forever cherishing her loving memories are her daughter, Ansionette (Andre Sr.) of Farmville; her grandson, Rayshaun (Gia) of Charlottesville; husband, Tonny of Cullen; sister, Daisy (William) of Pamplin; brother, Joseph of Appomattox; sisters-in-law, Clara, Regina (Wilma) and Denise of Appomattox; brothers-in-law, Bobby (Shirley) of Farmville, Lynn Jr. (Rose) of Appomattox; two god-sons, Tyreke Wheeler, who was more like her son, and Antwan Brooks Jr.; close cousins of the family, Lady Ligon, Delores Jackson, Lisa Eggleston and Helene Walker; best friends, Alberta Brooks, Stella Gaines (Richard); her phone besties, Sheryl Walker and Brenda Cashwell; bonus grandchildren, D’andrea, Andre Jr, Michael, Zion, Jasmine and Davinity; friends that are more like daughters, Gloria Callahan, Chrisshema Peerman, Mary Divers-Streat, April Scott-Vaughan, Letitia White; special grand god daughters, Asia Wilson, DiNasia Scott, Jamaica Wright; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, cousins and a special nephew, Damien Chambers.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Pamplin with interment in the church cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at http://www.JeffressFuneralHome.com.
