Violet Bailey Brownlee died Dec. 22. She was a longtime resident of Hampton. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brownlee and son, Danny Stacey. 

She is survived by her sons, Randy Stacey (Terry) and John Brownlee; sister, Emily Thompson; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Pine Chapel Baptist Church on Sunday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Jan. 3, 2024 at 2 p.m., at Hampton Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton.
