Fire and EMS crews were dispatched Thursday morning, May 25 for a crash involving a dump truck and a tractor-trailer on Highway 47 in Drakes Branch. According to officials with the Charlotte County Rescue Squad Units arrived to find heavy damage to both vehicles. One driver was injured and transported to a nearby hospital.
