Lady Statesmen claim victory on tennis courts

The Lady Statesmen tennis team hosted Heritage High School on Monday, March 27, picking up the 9-0 victory. In team scores:
No. 1 Emily Tharpe def M. Manning 8-3.
No. 2 Mary Scruggs def F. Jacob 8-0.
No. 3 Madeline Clatterbuck def K. Riddle 8-2.
No.4 Kate Hamilton def J. Zhang 8-0.
No. 5 Sally Lawson def L. Claros 8-4.
No. 6 Kandace Rutledge def M. Neal 8-4.
Meanwhile, in doubles competition, the combination of Tharpe and Scruggs beat Manning and Jacob 8-1. Clatterbuck and Hamilton defeated Claros and Neal 8-0 and finally, Evans and Rutledge beat Arianna and Zhang 8-1.
