MARCH 15-MARCH 31

TAX SERVICE — The Tri-County Community Action Agency is offering free tax preparation services through the VITA program. To qualify, your 2022 adjusted gross income must be $59,100 or less. Current year personal income tax returns, business tax returns are limited. Federal and state tax returns will be e-filed by TCCAA. MARCH 18

FREE COMMUNITY BREAKFAST — There will be a free community breakfast given out on Saturday, March 18 at Mossingford Baptist Church by the Unity in Christ ministry. The meal begins at 10 a.m.

STEW FUNDRAISER — The Charlotte County Retired Teachers Association will sponsor a stew at Keysville Auto Center on Saturday, March 18. Stew will be ready for pickup at 11 a.m., at a cost of $8 a quart. Profits from this sale will be used for projects that benefit students in Charlotte County Public Schools. ANNUAL CONFERENCE — Confident Women Ministry will hold their annual conference on Saturday, March 18, beginning at 10 a.m. The event will be held via conference call by calling 1-657-390-7012. The theme of this year’s conference will be “Understanding Your Assignment,” taken from Jeremiah 29:11. The guest speaker will be Elder Cornelia Ross from Restoration and Deliverance Christian Center.

MARCH 26 – MARCH 29

REVIVAL — Wylliesburg Baptist Church will hold revival services from Sunday, March 26 to Wednesday, March 29, at 7 p.m. nightly. Rev. Norman Talley will deliver the message, with special music each night.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY WORSHIP — A worship service with Confident Women Ministry is held every Sunday at 3 p.m. online via conference call. Services are led by Rev. Loretta Bailey and anyone is invited to call 1-657-390-7012 to take part.

ST. MICHAEL BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch holds worship services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays of each month Masks are required. The Rev. James E. Goode is the pastor.

AMATEUR RADIO MEETING — The Charlotte County Amateur Radio Club meets the first Sunday of the month at 1426 Estes Road in Chase City. The meeting begins at 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome. For more information, contact Jason at (434) 944-9100.

ST. ANDREWS BAPTIST CHURCH — St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen holds worship services at 11 a.m. the first and third Sundays. Sunday school begins at 9:45 a.m. the first, second, third and fourth Sundays. The Rev. Dr. Maurice Finney is the pastor.

BEAUTIFUL PLAIN BAPTIST — Beautiful Plain Baptist Church holds services at 11 a.m. the second and fourth Sundays at Beautiful Plain Baptist Church, Charlotte Court House until further notice.

HEBRON UNITED METHODIST — Hebron United Methodist Church in Saxe holds in-person services at 9:45 a.m. until further notice. Masks are required to attend.

PHENIX UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Phenix United Methodist Church, 225 Church St., in Phenix worship service is at 9 a.m. each Sunday morning. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.

MT. CARMEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH — Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 1101 Mt. Carmel Road, in Brookneal worship service is at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning. Masks and physical distancing are required. There will be no Sunday school.
