Drakes Branch Fire and Rescue Assistant Chief Jason Hudson, right, traveled to Ohio recently to pick up the department’s new Ram 5500 chassis. According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, the department’s new brush truck is still in its beginning stages. Once complete the new truck will replace the department’s current brush truck which has served the community for over 22 years.
