On Friday, Jan. 20, Randolph-Henry High School (R-H) hosted a “Glow Night” at the home boys basketball game against Amelia. The R-H baseball team, coaches and parents decorated the gym with glow in the dark enhancements as well as black lighting. Glow t-shirts, glow sticks and refreshments were also sold. The event served as a fundraiser for the R-H baseball program. Throughout the evening, fans were treated to special lights out times, glow in the dark basketball warm ups, participation songs and glow-tastic cheer routines. School officials said the event was a huge success and provided a fun, spirited atmosphere for students and fans. “We greatly appreciate all of the fans, parents, coaches, students and supporters who helped us plan and execute this event,” R-H officials said in a statement.
