The Warren Firm, a Charlottesville-based law firm, awarded their $2,500 Hard Work Pays Off Scholarship to Sean Hatcher, a recent graduate of Randolph-Henry High School (R-H).

Hatcher worked hard in high school to maintain his grades while balancing sports and working late-night hours at a local fast-food restaurant; many nights working until close before getting up early for school the next day. The Warren Firm commends Hatcher on his commitment to education and his hard work ethic.

“Always remember that hard work never goes unnoticed,” the firm’s founder and head attorney, T. Vaden Warren Jr. told Hatcher over the phone after giving him the good news about the award.

Hatcher will be attending Norfolk State in the fall and says he plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science.

Warren grew up in Crewe and while his career has led him 80 miles north to Charlottesville, he actively works with clients from all over Central and Southside Virginia and the area still holds a special place in his heart.

“Growing up in Crewe, I noticed and appreciated how tirelessly people around me worked. It was inspiring,” says Warren. “And that work ethic is what inspired the theme for the firm’s scholarship.”
