Henry Thomas “Tommy” Ferrell, 76 of Warsaw, passed away on Sept. 11. He was born on Oct. 31, 1945, to Aubrey Thomas and Helen Jones Ferrell. Tommy worked in chemical sales for Coastal Agribusiness for over 40 years and always cherished his relationship with local farmers. He loved hunting and guns and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. More than anything, Tommy was devoted to his loving family. His bond with his grandchildren was extremely special. He was their Pop-Pop and will be dearly missed by them.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Dale Madison Ferrell; daughters, Pam Ferrell and Stephanie Ferrell Donovan (Les); grandchildren, Amber Carnahan (Josh), Caleb Donovan and Devin Donovan; great-grandchildren, Noah, Zac and Liam; a brother, Billy Ferrell; a sister, Jean Puryear and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16, at Rappahannock Church of Christ with Pastor Tom Carnahan officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
