The Virginia State Police is investigating a two car crash that occurred on Barnesville Highway in the Wylliesburg area on Sept. 7 at approximately 7:45 p.m. According to Bacon District Volunteer Fire Department Chief Will Stembridge, both drivers were out of their vehicles when crews arrived. Charlotte County Rescue Squad, Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Bacon District Volunteer Fire Department and the Virginia State police responded to the scene.
