The Randolph-Henry (R-H) Girls Varsity Tennis team braved the cold weather to take on Appomattox in two regular season matches on Mar. 28.

Appomattox defeated R-H in the first match, and R-H defeated Appomattox in the second match.

In the first match, singles were played at Appomattox on Mar. 16, the doubles were held until Mar. 28 due to rain. Results from the first match were as follows:

No. 1 Marisa Servis (Appomattox) defeated Emily Tharpe 8-5. No. 2 Sue Kim def Kaydence Gilbert 8-3. No. 3 Madeline Clatterbuck defeated Berkley Gilbert 8-4. No. 4 Brooke Coleman (Appomattox) defeated Kate Hamilton 8-6. No. 5 Shannon Coleman (Appomattox) defeated Sally Lawson 8-0. No. 6 Madison Shirley (Appomattox) defeated Izzy Crawford 8-1

In doubles, Tharpe/Kim defeated Servis/Gilbert 8-4. Jameson/Coleman (Appomattox) defeated Clatterbuck/ Hamilton 8-0. Coleman/Shirey (Appomattox) defeated Lawson/Crawford 8-5.

In the second match the ladies hosted Appomattox winning 6-3.
