John Michael Jones, 72 of Phenix, passed away on May 9, in Farmville. He was the son late of John Wayne Jones and Hedy Liddle Jones.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Marilyn Clark Jones of Phenix; one daughter, Michelle Jones Owens (Greg) of Apex, North Carolina; one son, Benjamin E. Jones (Teresa) of Seattle, Washington; two granddaughters, Megan Louise and Hannah Elizabeth Owens; a special fir baby, Bandit; three grand dogs, Tipsy, Ollie and Dexter and a host of other relatives and friends.
