Keysville Chiropractic and Wellness Center was the winner of the $200 prize and tri-color ribbon for the their holiday decorations this year in a contest sponsored by the Keysville Garden Club and Ruritan Club.

Ribbons were awarded Tuesday, Dec. 8. The Keysville Town Council awarded cash prizes. Winners of the tri-color ribbon received $200. Blue-ribbon winners received $45.

Five homes received blue ribbons: Preston and Annie Bocook, Renae Conwell, Ali Gibbs, Betty Harding, and Gerry Pettus. Two homes earned the special recognition of the tri-color ribbon: Velda Agee and Cindy Felton.  The Keysville Library, Town Office, and Rescue Squad were all judged in their own category, with both the library and the Rescue Squad earning blue ribbons. 

Many local businesses also joined in the contest.  Business entrants were BB&T, Blooms by Shannon, Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, Hawthorne and Hawthorne P.C, Keysville Auto Parts, Keysville Chiropractic Wellness Center, Lazy Daisy Flowers and Gifts, Newcomb and Co., LLC, The Barber Shop, and Thompson Insurance Agency.  Newcomb and Co. and Thompson Insurance both earned blue ribbons.
