On Wednesday, October 21, at Wake Med in Raleigh, North Carolina, God called from labor to reward, Hezekiah Eubanks, Jr. He was born in Drakes Branch on April 25, 1942 to the late Hezekiah Eubanks, Sr. and Marjorie Hodge Eubanks. He was an avid gardener, loved sports and was a collector of anything he thought he could resell for profit. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Luphelia Paulk of Norwalk, Connecticut and Vickie Eubanks of Lynchburg; sisters, Sylvia E. Hambright of Brooklyn, New York and Mable E. Scott (Franklin) of Danville; grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Graveside Funeral Service was held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27 at St. Michael Baptist Church in Drakes Branch with interment in the church cemetery.
