The Charlotte County Board of Supervisors recognized Nan Lambert, the county’s longest-serving general registrar and director of elections of 33 years Tuesday Sept. 8. Lambert retired Monday, Aug. 31, after spending many long hours working to cover both county and national elections. The Charlotte County Electoral Board has appointed her assistant, Eric Goode, as interim registrar until July 1, 2021.
