The Drakes Branch, Bacon District and Keysville Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a heavily involved trailer fire on Westpoint Steven Road in Drakes Branch around noon Thursday, May 7. No one was at home during the time of the fire. The cause is still undetermined. The Charlotte County Rescue Squad and the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
