“Randolph-Henry Athletics has brought excellence and pride to our community for over 76 years,” officials said in the release. “The Randolph-Henry Athletic Hall of Fame will continue to ignite our passion for sports, rekindle fond memories and honor our history.”
Inductees will have a social time together Friday, Sept. 18, at 6 p.m. inside the Bankston Field complex prior to the Randolph-Henry varsity football game against visiting Nottoway High School, the release said. Recognition of the inductees will occur at halftime on the football field.
The induction ceremony will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m. at the Central Middle School Cafe, beginning with a catered lunch followed by the ceremony, officials noted in the release. Tickets will go on sale July 1 in the Randolph-Henry High School main office. Ticket sales will end Sept. 6, and tickets are required to attend. Space is limited for this special event.
