Eureka to present ‘Rock Around the Block’
Since January, Eureka fifth-grade students have been preparing a musical. On March 26 at 7 p.m., they will perform “Rock Around the Block.” The audience will be treated to a flashback to the ‘50s complete with toe-tapping rock ’n’ roll songs, poodle skirts, and leather jackets. Come see how Gracie tries to pull off the best Hippity-Hop Dance ever in spite of the ever doubtful Muffin and with no guarantee superstar Ziggy Springer will be able to make it. It will be a fun night, so come and support these students and all of their hard work. Pictured are, from left, front row: Carter Ramey. Middle row: Parker Allen, Ashla Imperiale, Clara Nelson, Penelope Southall and Jackson Worton. Back row: Avery Hilliard, Colin Dickerson, Kaleb Nash, Callie Mays, Kaydence Kellum, Virginia Davis, Kaylee George, Kendall Snead and Gerrit Ramey. Not pictured, Isaiah Friend.
