Dear Editor,

It upsets me to pay ever higher county taxes and then see tax money spent on gift cards and a party at the Country Club. How can the county administrator certify $500 for gift cards to three employees and $1,275 for party food as valid operating supplies under county policy? Ask your supervisor why they approved on Nov. 13 to spend $1,775 in tax dollars for gift cards and a party.
