At 6:54 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on West Point Stevens Road near Burton Lane. Three people were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation. The road was re-opened by 8:50 a.m. The Charlotte County Rescue Squad, Virginia State Police, Drakes Branch and Keysville Volunteer Fire departments assisted. No further details were available as of press time.
