Reeves seeks Cullen/Red House District seat

M. Anthony “Tony” Reeves has announced his candidacy for the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors for the Cullen/Red House District.

Reeves is a lifelong resident of Charlotte County, attended Charlotte County Public Schools and Central Virginia Community College in Lynchburg.

Community service has been a major part of his life. He served as fire chief of the Red House Volunteer Fire Department for 10  years, served as president of Phenix Elementary School PTO, president of Randolph Henry Athletic Boosters and president of the Charlotte County FFA Alumni.

Reeves has served for the past six years on the Board of Directors for the seven county Piedmont Senior Resources.

He is an Army veteran and a retired Virginia Army National Guard Sergeant Major.

Presently, Reeves works for Hurt & Proffitt, Inc., civil engineers in Lynchburg and is Pastor of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Abilene.

Reeves would very much appreciate public support as he looks forward to working with the other board members for the betterment of all Charlotte County citizens.
