ANNUAL MEN’S DAY, 11 a.m. at Salem Baptist Church, 4050 Salem School Road, Red Oak. Theme, “Arise and Fight For What Belongs To You.” Samuel 30: 1-10. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Haney Thomas, pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church, Meherrin, along with the male chorus. Everyone welcome.
PRAYER/PRAISE/HEALING/DELIVERANCE SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Triumph Baptist Church, 2756 Darlington Heights Road, Prince Edward. Pastor, the Rev. James W. Morris will preach and the church’s choir will sing. Everyone welcome.
HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Phenix United Methodist Church. David Canada will be the guest preacher and Taylor Trent will also deliver a youth message. Special music provided by Goff Mountain Bluegrass Gospel and Sheila Schaeffer. A covered-dish luncheon will follow. All are welcome.
HOMECOMING MUSICAL SERVICE, 11 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church, 2006 County Line Road, Keysville. Musical guests are the Trinity Quartet. All are welcome.
HOMECOMING, 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Garrison Michael Hickman will deliver the message and the Bethel Grove gospel chorus, Clover, will provide the music. Lunch will be served.
MISSIONARY DAY, 3 p.m. at Aspen Hill Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be Minister Bedford of the St. Andrews Baptist Church in Cullen. Light refreshments will be served. Come and help us make this day a success
CONCERT, 7 p.m. featuring “The Stoney Ridge Band” at Rough Creek Presbyterian Church. There will be light refreshments following the concert and all are welcome to attend. The church is located 3 miles north of Phenix on highway 727.

REVIVAL SERVICES, 11 a.m. at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Abilene. Services each night will begin at 7 p.m. Dr. Wayne Hines of Lanexa will be the guest speaker. He has shared the gospel all over the world including, Ukraine, the Philippines, India, Guatemala, Brazil and much of the United States. There will be special music each night and a nursery will be provided.
OCTOBER 1
BEEKEEPERS TO MEET, 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office. The program will be our annual Fun Honey-Tasting. The competition is open to all who have extracted honey from their own bees this current season. Bring your honey in an unmarked squeeze bottle if possible. Our new State Bee Inspector Josh Martin and a representative from the Longwood Science Department will also be there. Anyone who has bees or is interested in bees is welcome. WINE FESTIVAL, 1-7 p.m. hosted by the Barksdale Cancer Foundation at the historic Gil-Har House in Phenix. Entertainment will be provided by the Stoney Ridge Band of Keysville and Public Consumption from Halifax.
OCTOBER 6
HOMECOMING, at Mt Calvary Baptist Church on Mt Calvary Road in Brookneal. Lunch will be served after the morning service. There will be no afternoon service. The public is welcome.
63RD ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of the Royallights Gospel Singers at The First Baptist Church in Wylliesburg. Various groups will appear on the program. Come out and worship The Lord with us.
OCTOBER 13
110TH HOMECOMING ANNIVERSARY, 11 a.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church, 6101 Scuffletown Road, Randolph. Members, friends, family, visitors and neighbors are welcome. The Rev. Philip Hong, pastor, will lead our service with special music by the New Hope Choir and Misook Hong. A covered dish luncheon will follow. For more information, contact the Rev.
