The Pamplin post office received structural damage to the roof following a storm Aug. 21 that caused a large tree to fall on the building. No other damages were reported to the building, and the post office was open for business the following day. The storm occurred around 9 p.m. and caused several other trees and power lines to fall throughout the town.
