Roscoe M. Eubanks Sr. born on July 11, 1935 in Drakes Branch, Virginia to the late Hezekiah and Marjorie Hodge Eubanks. On Tuesday night, August 6, Roscoe peacefully made his transition at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, VA. Like a true soldier, he fought a good fight, but God called him home to live with his parents, siblings, and friends in heaven. At an early age he joined Gethsemane Presbyterian Church. He’s survived by his children, Eunice Eubanks, Joan Harris, Rondalyn Hammond Beatty, Jerry Thompson, Jerry Eubanks, Roscoe Eubanks, Jr., Earl and Donald Hammond; brother, Hezekiah Eubanks, Jr; sisters, Mable Scott and Sylvia Hambright; grandchildren and great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services were held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Gethsemane Presbyterian Church in Drakes Branch. Service of Comfort provided by Dupee Funeral Home of Drakes Branch.
