See High Bridge as it transcends evening into night. The Trail will be open Friday night between Farmville and Rice for Trail users to enjoy. Meet the park interpreter on High Bridge over the Appomattox River valley to listen for local owl species and identify nocturnal animals by sound. The event is hosted by the High Bridge Trail State Park and is family friendly. The program is free but parking fees apply. A bottle of water, appropriate clothes for the temperature along with bug spray are recommended. The trail should be clear by 11 p.m. For more information contact the park office at (434) 315-0457.
