End of Summer event scheduled

The Town of Keysville will hold an End of the Summer music festival on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 11 a.m-6 p.m., at the Osborne Street Park.

According to Keysville Mayor, Steven Morris, the event will include live music from Danny Kensey and Cedar Creek, Deep Creek and Forever Young.

Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from Larry Alger and QRC. Wine will be available from Three Sisters of Shiney Rock Winery and beer will be provided by Budweiser.
Admission is $10, kids under 14 are free and must be accompanied by a parent.

The town is also encouraging other vendors who would like to set up to join the event by filling out a vendor application on the town’s website at www.townofkeysville.com.

The town also plans to hold another festival in the spring according to Morris focusing more on arts and crafts.
