Drug arrest made following traffic stop

Jeremy Ray, 25 of Greensboro, North Carolina has been arrested for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute following a narcotics interdiction conducted by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office on U.S. Hwy. 360 on Thursday, July 25.

According to the sheriff’s office, the traffic stop resulted in the seizure of approximately 3 pounds of marijuana, $1,006 in U.S. currency, and drug paraphernalia related to the distribution of marijuana.
The Tri-County Narcotics and Gang Task Force assisted in the investigation. The suspect has been released on bond.
