SUMMER READING CHALLENGE, at Wylliesburg Community Library for ages 6-13. Come by and learn how you can win a free ice cream cone and be entered into a drawing for lots of goodies.

JULY 27 

ROCK THE BLOCK, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at King Street Church, Keysville. Bring the children for a day of fun, food, music, ice cream, bounce house and much more. First 200 to register will receive backpacks filled with goodies. Register on the King Street Church Facebook page.

JULY 28 

GUEST SPEAKER, 11 a.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church with Evangelist Carolyn Goode. All are welcome to come and worship with us.

CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Keysville. Guest choirs will be appearing. Everyone is welcome.

PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, 14167 Farmville Road, Meherrin for Pastor Haney Thomas, Jr. Guest preacher will be the Rev. Walter Fells, Pastor of Mercy Seat Baptist Church, Hampden Sydney along with his choir and congregation.

AUGUST 3 

10TH ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. of New Beginnings of Chase City at the First Baptist Church, 6843 Marengo Road, LaCrosse. Come out and praise the Lord together in song.

AUGUST 8 

REVIVAL, 7 p.m. at the New Rehoboth Baptist Church. The speaker will be the Rev. Timothy Green. Homecoming will be held Aug. 11. All are welcome.

AUGUST 22 

COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR, 5:30 p.m. at the Estes Community Center, Chase City. Registration is recommended by calling (434) 532-8190. The event is free.
