Nipin Hennings and Suin Kim from Randolph-Henry High School attended the FBLA’s National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas from June 29-July 3 with their adviser, Karen Osborne. The students competed in the Graphic Design Team event where they presented their creation of a new high school’s name, colors and mascot. Along with this, they created promotional/branding graphics that included a T-shirt, performing arts uniform, sports uniform and a magnet. FBLA-NLC provided training that the students will be able to share with their local organization. The overall experience was valuable as the students enjoyed a stay at the Marriott over the Riverwalk, toured the Alamo, shopped, ate authentic/popular Lone Star State Foods and watched the light show at the San Fernando Cathedral that showed the history of San Antonio.
