Sidney Randolph, age 85 of Phenix, died on June 5, 2019 in Appomattox. He was the son of the late Mr. Jeff Randolph and the late Mrs. Mary Belle Snell Randolph. He was married to the late Mrs. Vergie Mae Davis Randolph.

He is survived by three daughters, Marilyn McIvor (Kenneth) of Red House, Brenda Bowens of Fredericksburg and Melinda Yancey of Charlotte, NC; one son, Sidney Edward Randolph (Angel) of Lynchburg; one sister, Louise Byard of Phenix; one brother, Bernard Randolph (Annabelle) of Phenix; sisters-in-law, Deloris Randolph of Charlotte, NC, and Thelma Randolph of New York City, NY,; brothers-in-law, Luther Davis (Kelly) of Delaware, Ryland Davis (Martha) of Appomattox and Jerry Wayne Davis (Barbara) of Newport, News; eight grandchildren, Sheena Allen (Quintin) of Rustburg, Aundray Dillard (Misty) of Charlotte, NC, Sidney Edward Randolph II of Appomattox, Daniel James Bowens II and Shanna Bowens of Fredericksburg, Victoria Green, Jailyn Thomas and Micah Thomas, all of Lynchburg; ten great grandchildren; a devoted friend, Frankie Childress; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 12 at 1 p.m. at White Oak Grove Baptist Church in Phenix with interment in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www. JeffressFuneralHome.com.
